Getting a Flatcoat

If you are wondering if a flatcoated retriever is the right breed for you NEFRA has people who would be only to happy to help.

PuppyThe officers and committee are listed onthe ‘Contact Us’  page. Many of us have been in the breed for a long time, some of us have bred dogs, shown dogs and worked dogs.

We are all happy to talk about the breed and you may even want to meet up with our dogs to give you an idea of whether they will fit into your life and your home.

Have a look at our events diary to see if you can come along to one of our training events, shows or working tests.

Once you have met a few flat-coats and you are still seriously considering taking one on there are two routes you can follow:

  • Contact our Litter Recorder – Brenda Adams (01423) 551418 – who keeps a record of breeders who are planning litters soon.A voluntary donation to NEFRA’s chosen charity (currently Pet Blood Bank) is welcomed for this service
