Training Day &WRA assessment

13th July

July Training and WRA Day

NEFRA is holding a second training and Working Retriever Assessment (WRA) day on Saturday 13th July – previously advertised as the 14th July – at Burton Salmon, LS25 5JX.  The morning will consist of training for Beginner, Novice Day / Novice Handler and Novice and the afternoon will be a Novice Level WRA.

The NEFRA Working Retriever Assessment is the perfect way to get an understanding of where your dog is with regard to its training; what is working well and what needs more focus.  The format follows that of a working test although in a much less formal way so is the perfect introduction if you want to compete in Tests at some point.  There will be 4 separate exercises to be completed each of which will be marked out of 20; the pass mark will be decided by the assessors, on the day and all tests have to be passed to be successful.  In order to pass the Novice WRA you need to pass 3 separate assessment days.
