NEFRA held a Working Retriever Assessment today at Garstang by very kind permission of Simon Fitzherbert-Brockholes. We started early and completed the land retrieves of the assessments for both the novice and intermediate dogs while it was cool, and then moved off to the water to complete both tests on the lovely shaded pond. A lovely day with some challenging tests. Thank you to Lisa Mappin and Caroline Hewison who judged the novices, and Chris Hewison judged the intermediates.
Huge thank you also to Alan Jenkinson for throwing dummies all day, and also Garry throwing this afternoon.
Passes of a novice stage were awarded to
Gill Griffin and Ravencrag Illusionist
Garry Ellison and Ollersett Shimmering Nymph
Two dogs passed their third stage and were awarded their novice certificates
Julie Matthews and Ollersett Black Diamond
Mags Brayfield and Contar Skeggles Water
One dog passed a stage of the intermediate assessment
Caroline Hewison and Casblaidd Island in the Sky
Well done everyone, thank you all for coming, and I will get some more dates sorted soon!
